The purpose of this blog is to explore the issues that build up and tear down human dignity. This is a very practical topic. The application of these principles impact every human interaction. It encompasses faith, human relations, economics, financial planning, and critical decision making. The premise that drives this blog is that good ideas and thinking ennoble the human condition and make lives and society better. Bad ideas have real consequences that are often tragic (and unforeseen) by their protagonists.
The philosophical underpinning of these thoughts are traditional, conservative and Catholic. My goal is to apply this worldview to the issues of the day with charity, prudence and fortitude. My approach is to be encouraging and positive especially if I have to be critical of ideas or actions of others.
